The NEW Google Nest Audio Smart Speaker Unboxed and Setup

Canadians officially get their shot at owning the new Google Nest Audio Smart Speaker this week. This latest Google-powered smart speaker is the company’s latest push to adopt the Nest branding for things that go inside the home like their thermostats, security cameras, and WiFi access points. The Nest Audio joins the Nest Mini and Nest Max Hub as their current smart assistant line-up, slowly phasing out their older Google Home series.

The new Google Nest Audio is shaped like a pillow standing on its end. A hefty little one thanks to a series of speakers that give the smart speaker improved sound over their previous models. Multi-room audio is a feature, allowing you to put one in each room you want to route audio to. And in a space that has two Nest Audio smart speakers present, you can turn them into a stereo pair.
