Dyson is a name best known for its innovative vacuum technologies and products. But one area that they are trying to make a name for themselves is in hair care, and they are doing it with a duo of innovative products.
The Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer takes all they know about vacuuming things, and they have turned it into the ultimate in moisture reduction tool for hair. The Supersonic precisely applies heat where needed, in four increments from 28C to 100C. The air can be dispersed in three precise air patterns, from wide, to narrow, using magnetic attachments that clip on and off easily. Airflow can also be adjusted in three precise increments including low, medium, and high. It also takes up very little space, reducing clutter. It’s available for $499 CAD.
Next up is the Dyson Airwrap Styler which, quite frankly, is a little difficult to explain. It sounds like it shouldn’t work when compared to how conventional curling irons accomplish the task. Instead of using extreme heat, it uses something called the Coanda effect which employs air pressure from a special fan and the geometry of the various included attachments to dry and curl hair gently. The Airwrap Styler can also be transformed into an air-powered hairbrush, which adds body and volume to your hair. It’s quite frankly, a pretty amazing device and it will set you back $649 CAD depending on the bundle selected.
Now that you’re looking great, it’s time to feel great with a pair of percussive massagers from Theragun. We’re featuring two models, the Theragun G3 and the Theragun G3Pro. Both are percussive massagers that come with different soft rubber heads that help pound those aches and pains out of you but in a therapeutic way. Both devices are low noise and have a unique ergonomic design that allows you to apply the treatment yourself, or with the help of a friend. While both devices offer similar high-quality construction and performance, the G3Pro edition is more for frequent usage and comes with an extra lithium-ion battery, a beefed-up motor, a couple of extra tips, and a larger travel case to hold all the extras. The Theragun G3 retails for $499 CAD while the Theragun G3Pro retails for $759 CAD.
One thing that many people forget about when they are out having fun in the sun is the potential damage that prolonged UV and environmental exposure has on your skin. La-Roche Posay is a company that is all about helping you take care of the skin you are in. The La Roche-Posay My Skin Track UV Sensor is a wearable that can warn you about UV, pollution, and pollen levels and can recommend an exact skincare routine to match your environment. The device is waterproof and so small that you can clip it to your sunglasses, shirt, purse or your watch. It communicates wirelessly with a companion app on your smartphone. The best part is that it’s completely battery-free so you never have to remember to charge it. It retails for $79 CAD and is available at the Apple Store.
