The magnetosphere is the earth’s natural magnetic field that, essentially, makes life possible on the planet. If the planet didn’t have one, we wouldn’t be living here. It appears that the planet is experiencing a little technical difficulty, and it might be throwing off things like satellites. Remember Elon Musk’s Starlink? It uses a lot of satellites in a dance around the planet. We’ve got Peter Vogel, a science friend of the show, to help explain things.
