Amazon has great control and power over the distribution of books. It’s how they rose to prominence. For the most part, their power and control helps to keep the quality of the material up, especially where it’s desirable to have objectionable content removed. We speak to Danny Caine from The Raven Bookstore in Kansas to help us understand what’s happening and how we can resist Amazon.
Workers are migrating from workspaces to home spaces at a record pace. As people start to set up their home offices and deal with their own IT problems, there is evidence that is showing that ransomware and phishing scams are also on the rise. Our hosts this week are Mike Agerbo, Graham Williams and John Biehler. Joining us is Danny Caine from The Raven Bookstore and Katherine Keefe from Beazley.
