Telus has alleged that Shaw is faking their Fibre Internet. The regional providers at it over claims about the ‘fibre content’ in Shaw’s Fibre+ service. Telus alleges that Shaw is too enthusiastic about their use of fibre in their network to mislead customers in advertising. Telus is the only pure fibre provider with a product going to residential homes. There are evident differences between the two services with the absolute fibre service of Telus having clear advantages over Shaw’s copper line services. Are they justifiably upset? We have Peter Vogel back for an in-depth discussion.
