Clearview AI is a tool that law enforcement has been using to identify suspects in crimes. To make the AI more effective, the company has been scraping all your social media profiles, and the Internet for your photos to add to its collective knowledge. This is just the beginning. How creepy is that? Is this even legal? It’s getting very ‘Minority Report.’ To help us understand what is happening along with the many implications, we went to Dr. Ann Cavoukian, a former privacy commissioner for the province of Ontario, to find out more.
