Today, Apple launched the long rumoured AirPods Max over-ear headphones.
Featuring Adaptive EQ, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency Mode, Spatial Audio and a smart case. Battery life is up to 20 hours with all features enabled. The smart case (included) automatically put the AirPods Max into an ‘ultralow power state’ to preserve battery when not in use.
According to Apple:
“AirPods are the most popular headphones in the world, beloved for their effortless setup, incredible sound quality, and iconic design. With AirPods Max, we are bringing that magical AirPods experience to a stunning over-ear design with high-fidelity audio,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing. “The custom acoustic design, combined with powerful H1 chips, and advanced software enable AirPods Max to use computational audio to wirelessly deliver the ultimate personal listening experience.”
In the box, you’ll get the AirPods Max, the smart case and a Lightning to USB-C cable.
Pre-orders are available today for $779 Cdn in Space Grey, Silver, Green, Sky Blue and Pink. AirPods Max will ship on December 15th. For more information and to order, visit Apple.ca.
