Touring Huaqiangbei – the electronics markets of Shenzhen

One of the highlights of visiting Shenzhen is Huaqiangbei. It’s the world’s largest electronics marketplace. The entire district is dedicated to building after building of small stalls with vendors offering everything from basic components to finished products at wholesale prices – or less as you will almost always want to negotiate the final price. You can literally buy one microchip or a million of them from the same vendor who will ship them anywhere in the world for you.

We visited one of the more popular buildings (in part due to the variety of products offered) that is comprised of six floors of different tech – each floor has a specialty.
