There is no question that Animal Crossing: New Horizons (ACNH) has been a smash success for Nintendo. If you’re looking to do more with the game, I’ve got a few useful web-based tools to help you enjoy the game even more than you probably already are.
Last week, I wrote about to import your own images and graphics into ACNH.
It didn’t take long for someone to build a repository, Custom Crossing, for all these creative assets that you can easily import into the game via the kiosk inside the Able Sisters store (once you’ve got the upgrade at least – buy from Mable in the plaza for a three consecutive days so she earns enough to build a proper store on your island).
Custom Crossing has all sorts of clothing and designs you can bring into the game. While each item has a unique id to import into the game, I recommend using the creator id in the game to see what else that creator has made available…so many great items that are completely free to use in the game.
Everything in ACNH is seasonal and even items like fish and bugs come and go every month. AC-Catch.com shows an inventory of all the ‘catchables’ for the month and even has a toggle for northern and southern hemispheres (yes, they are different!) which is great.
It also shows what’s leaving this month and what’s not available right now, as well as where to catch, time of year and how many bells they are worth.
Keeping track of the going rate for turnips on the island can be a pain as it changes twice daily (am/pm).
The Turnip Prophet let’s you enter your details and it will attempt to predict the best time to sell your turnips. It’s a work in progress and has been updated regularly.
I hope you find these tools useful while playing Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
