The Belkin Soundform Elite Hi-Fi Smart Speaker offers a great audio experience. With dual subwoofers and audio tuned by France’s Devialet, you’ll pay a lot (around $399 CAD), but your ears will love it. But that’s not all you get!
The Soundform Elite Hi-Fi Smart Speaker, by its namesake, is powered by Google Assistant. That means that you can say ‘Hey Google’ and have it answer your search queries, set alarms, and tell you the weather. And because it is powered by Google Assistant, you can also have it connect to all your smart home products, and take control of those too. You can ask Roomba to vacuum, you can get your Sinope thermostat to turn down the heat, and you can get it to turn on the lights with a compatible smart plug.
While these are all cool features, the best one is the simplest. The “+ wireless” in the product’s full names means that, with a compatible smartphone, the built-in Qi charging pad allows you to get charging as soon as you get home. Just put it on the pad, ask Spotify to play some music, and know that the next time you see your phone, it’ll be charged. No more fumbling for cables.
