Oldies but Goodies
Denon had continued to offer 2 great features built in to their receivers. First, Dynamic Volume levels voices to match base and surround so you can enjoy your movie without waking anyone else in the house. Second, Dynamic EQ allows will enhance the surround, height and bass so you can enjoy movies with full effects without turning your receiver up to an uncomfortable level.
New Additions
Denon has addressed some great shortcomings that have existed in the AVR market. They have added 4k/120hHz pass-through, Variable Refresh Rate, Quick Frame Transport and Auto Low Latency Mode so gamers will be able to have a full experience with zero delay in imagery. Denon has also added Quick Media Switching which will switch sources seamlessly. Denon has also added a Pre-Amplifier mode which disconnects the internal amplifier feature should you wish to add amplifiers to your home theatre and help the receiver run cooler and cleaner (available in 3700, 4700 and 6700).
2020 is a big year for Denon AVR with a lineup that is jam packed with features and future proofing with 8K pass-through and IMAX enhanced capabilities.
