Vizio is launching its lineup of TVs and they are going to start hitting shelves this fall with their OLED. They are calling it their 2021 lineup. Vizio is looking to make its presence in the gaming market. With the release coming out of the new Xbox and PS5, the timing couldn’t be better.
Vizio’s top tier LED will be named the the P-Series Quantum X. Pricing for the 65” will be $1,500 USD, the 75” will be $2,000 USD and the 85” will hit the market at $3,000 USD. These panels will have the ability to hit 3000 nits at peak brightness and can carry 800 nits across the entire screen. Vizio’s gaming engine will run at 4k and 120 Hz and will assist in any input lag.
The non ‘X’ series will still boast some solid stats with being able to hit 1200 nits and put out some fantastic black levels. Both of these series will have anti-reflective screens to help with glare. These new panels will also be fully HDR compatible.
Vizio is launching their M and V series OLED screens as well. You will be able to acquire one of the M series in either 55” or 65” and feature a very small 4 mm thin bezel to give that truly floating image look. All M-Series TVs include Vizio’s ProGaming Engine and VRR (Variable Refresh Rate).
The V series will be Vizio’s value offering. Sizing from 40”-70” will be available. HDMI 2.1 will be standard with eARC across both series.
Vizio will be supporting HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision as well as HLG throughout its entire 4K lineup.
Audio will also be a factor with Vizio this year. Vizio will be launching the Elevate 5.1.4 sounder to bring your content to life. The Elevate has built in Atmos and DTS:X decoding. The soundbar will feature 18 speakers across 10 channels to maximize the ability to shoot object base audio throughout your listening area. You will also receive a wireless subwoofer and 2 rear speakers to round out your sound. Interestingly, the front speakers on the sound bar can rotate should you want to increase the amount of ‘up fire’ you experience with Atmos.
The US will start to see these hitting the shelves starting end of June, with the OLED will follow in the fall.
