Up until very recently, the majority of ‘Apple’ products found on Amazon were either knockoffs or poorly labelled 3rd party products. Apple has sold genuine products in the US on Amazon.com for a while but only recently became available to Canadian customers.
This is good for a number of reasons. First of all, many folks have Amazon gift certificates or credits which now means they can purchase Apple products with them. This also means you may have the ability to get same-day or at least next day delivery if you’re a Prime member which is definitely going to be faster than Apple shipping to you direct (which may also cost more depending on the item). You also have a very easy return system with Amazon if you’re not happy with your purchase which may be less complicated than other retailers which usually charge a restocking fee.
They started off with accessories for your Mac, iPad, iPhone and even various AirPods. The AirPods Pro are even on sale right now.

Shop carefully though for Apple products on Amazon as there are lots of similar listings for Apple products. Ensure it’s actually sold by Apple and not a 3rd party reseller (other than Amazon). Current examples would be refurbished or ‘renewed’ models which might look tempting but don’t come directly from Apple’s famous Refurbished store.
We’ll keep monitoring the offerings on Amazon to when/if other product lines are offered.
