Access Your Computer Remotely Using Your Mobile Device With Splashtop

There are times you find yourself away from your computer desperately needing to

access a file on it. If you store your files in the cloud, you can access them using your

phone or another device. That being said, not everyone is in the habit of storing files

using a cloud storage service. If you’re one of these people, you might find an app like

Splashtop useful.

Splashtop lets you access your computer using a mobile device, like an iPad, iPhone, or

Android mobile device. In addition to being able to access your files you can open

applications, access your media files, and even play 3D games right on your mobile

device. The app is optimized to let you easily navigate your computer using a

touchscreen. It also lets you highlight, write, or draw over any live remote desktop

screen. All this happens over a 3G or 4G network.

Splashtop requires a monthly or yearly subscription in addition to the purchase of the

app. You’ll also need to download Splashtop Streamer to your Mac or PC. Finally, your

computer will have to be on when you’re trying to access it remotely.

Splashtop offers solutions for personal, business, and enterprise use. If you or your

business could benefit from being able to access computers remotely, Splashtop is worth

looking into.
