Mobile Yesterday & Tomorrow – CKNW Radio Show
The announcement of Apple Music‘s launch made a big splash on the market. Since iOS 9’s new features were unveiled at WWDC 2015 it’s predicted to become Spotify’s biggest potential threat. With comparable features and the advantage of being an iOS native app it’s on the right path to success. Apple music has seen a lot of media attention recently due to Apple’s U-turn on its policy statement on artists royalties, a change that will most likely bring artists support back to the brand.
Josh O’Kane, reporter at Globe and Mail, is one of our guests for tomorrow’s CKNW radio show and he’s going to discuss the Apple Music launch with our team.
On the same day as Canada’s birthday, cellphones celebrated 30 years in Maple leaf territory. To celebrate this occasion we have invited Victor Surerus, the first cellphone’s user in Canada, to our show. He spent the equivalent of over $3,500 for a mobile phone so big that it came with its own bag. A premiere that would definitely change the world of telecommunication.
Finally to celebrate Independence Day in the US we have Christian Paul, co-founder and in charge of marketing at Roam Mobility, to talk about their roaming plans for Canadians who travel in US and want to get cheap mobile solutions.
