Mobile apps – CKNW Radio Show
Mobile is a really hot asset since smartphone’s explosion in 2007. Today more than half of the online traffic comes from mobile and according to statistics even though Android gets more of the market share in terms of sales, Apple’s users would be much more active. The number of apps on the Apple Store reaches an impressive 1.4 million and being able to develop iOS apps is a significant skill.
Lighthouse Labs provide an 8-week full-time, intensive course to learn how to build the greatest iOS apps and its Chief Education Officer, Khurram Virani, is our guest tomorrow on CKNW to tell us more about their bootcamp.
Still in mobile we are also happy to invite Christopher Doyle to be a part of the show. He’s the Director of Media Partnerships at Twitter Canada and will introduce Twitter’s new app Periscope to us. The goal of this app is to be as close as possible from the teleportation and allow people to discover the world through other people’s eyes.
