Baby Tech – Global TV TechTalk April 22, 2015

What’s new on Global TV?

As a new parent, AJ is an expert at the latest in baby tech. He knows better than anyone that between 0 and 6 months parents are constantly worrying about their new born. To help parents ease their mind, baby monitors have evolved to incorporate technology that optimizes your baby’s sleep and parent’s time. Snuza Hero is a sensor you clip on your baby’s pyjamas and monitors your baby’s breath by being sensitive to abdominal movements giving you peace of mind. If it doesn’t detect breathing for 15 seconds the monitor vibrates to remind your baby to breath. If it’s too weak or stops several times for too long there is an alarm that let’s you know you need to check on your child. Evoz is a monitor that connects to wifi and has a built-in camera to keep an eye on your baby while she/he’s napping. There is a music player for lullabies to help your baby sleep, and the loudspeaker allows you to project your voice if your baby wakes up. Finally it includes a temperature sensor and a night light that ensures your baby’s comfort.

Snuza Hero: $150-$200

Evoz: $199
