Learn a New Language with Drops

Drops

Learning a new language can seem like a daunting and time-consuming task. While

there’s no question that you’ll need to invest a lot of time and effort to become fluent,

learning the basics doesn’t need to be overwhelming. Using Drops for iOS you can learn

essential vocabulary in several languages in just five minutes per day.

To help you learn your desired language’s vocabulary, the makers of Drops have

handpicked 460 of the most practical words. The app uses fast paced games—such as

swiping letters to form words, choosing the correct illustration to correspond with a word,

and answering true or false questions—to help you learn core vocabulary. The games are

timed to continue for 5 minutes after which a timer counts down 24 hours until your next

installment. Because this style of learning relies on repetition, it’s important to come back

to the app daily. As you go along, Drops learns how you learn and provides you with the

right amount of challenge to help you advance your vocabulary.

With Drops, you can learn vocabulary in Spanish, French, German, Italian, and English.

The games are a colourful and entertaining way to spend five minutes—not to mention

educational.
